Unlocking Your Android Phone Without Losing Data

If you have forgotten your Android phone's password or pattern and need to unlock it without a hard reset, factory reset, or data loss, follow these steps carefully.

Step 1: Attempt Unlocking

  1. Try entering a random pattern.
  2. If unsuccessful, wait for the 30-second countdown to finish.

Step 2: Use Emergency Call Method

  1. Open the Emergency Call section.
  2. Enter the following code and press dial:

    • You will receive a message saying, "Can't call this number. This is not an emergency number." Click OK.
  3. Repeat this process with the following codes:

    • *#0*0#*
    • *#436#*
    • Click OK after each attempt.

Step 3: Wait for 60 Seconds

  1. After entering the above codes, wait for one minute before proceeding.

Step 4: Enter Final Code

  1. Go back to the Emergency Call section.
  2. Enter and dial the last code:

    • Click OK when prompted.

Step 5: Reboot Into Safe Mode

  3. Select OK when prompted to reboot into Safe Mode.

Step 6: Set a New Unlock Pattern

  1. In Safe Mode, draw a new unlock pattern five times.

Step 7: Restart Your Phone

  1. Restart the phone to exit Safe Mode.
  2. Once in normal mode, use the newly set pattern to unlock your device.
